The 21st-century has seen Newcastle become something of a hotbed for experimental and psychedelic rock, and so it’s of no surprise that serotonin levels are reaching fever pitch with the news that legendary Japanese ensemble Acid Mothers Temple will be performing at the Star & Shadow Cinema on Wednesday 12th October.
With over 100 studio and 50 live releases, The Guardian’s David Bennun was quoted as saying “Acid Mothers Temple have in their two-decade existence recorded far more head-melting music than any sane person would know what to do with.”
The opportunity to see them live is not one to be missed.
Tickets, priced at £15.00 in advance, are available from starandshadow.org.uk.
