A collective unit born on the banks of the Tees, Cattle & Cane have a gritty and steely determination about them which comes from their roots in the heart of the industrial landscape of Teesside where they were brought up.
Playing in the stunning setting of the Tyne Theatre, which was originally opened in 1867, this was the perfect, intimate setting for them; especially with the polite, attentive crowd that was here to listen to every single word.
With sublime sibling harmonies, poignant lyrics and catchy, radio-friendly tracks, Cattle & Cane have, over the years, truly developed their sound. And tracks from their new album ‘Navigator’ fitted into the set seamlessly with ‘Mexico’ stranding out with its catchy hook, experimental electric drum beats and pop sensibilities.
Cattle & Cane, you’re making us Teessiders very, very proud.
