The Shoe Cake Comedy Xmas Special at The Georgian Theatre in Stockton promises to have you creased up in stitches – I promise you, this will be super funny.
This fantastic stand-up comedy show is split into two sections: Firstly, there’ll be hilarious stand-up comedy from David Smith, Lois Mills and Trent Baxendine and the second section will contain impressive improvisation from The Discount Comedy Checkout where all the games, scenarios, and situations are formed from the audience.
Hull comedian David Smith, who has been making waves on the comedy circuit with his jokes about the rules of growing up, home furnishings, and wife issues, is regarded as one of Hull’s funniest comedians and was a finalist of Beat the Gong at ARC in Stockton. His down to earth comedy is relatable for all and is genuine, with David opening up about his life to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly.
The decidedly strange and weird-minded Lois Mills has been impressing audiences with her one-woman sketch group. Winning the Leicester Square Sketch Off Final and making it as a finalist in The Great Yorkshire Fringe New Comedian Comp, she brings you the best of her quirky and wonderful sketch comedy, turning your perception of sketch comedy, theatre and interpretive dance on its head.
Opening the show is Trent Baxendine who is an up and coming comedian worth keeping an eye and ear on.
