George Egg is a cross-genre stand-up comedian and anarchic chef who presents a show that’s as much a comedy set as it is an illustrated lecture.
Following on from his first two comedy/cooking shows ‘Anarchist Cook’ and ‘DIY Chef’, George Egg returns with his new show ‘Movable Feast’ which is all about making food on the move.
Egg’s first show entitled ‘Anarchist Cook’ – which he performed at the 2015’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival – saw his career explode despite having no pr, producer, director and not even a poster – it became a sell-out show and enabled him to tour for the next two years.
Egg’s comedy career has seen him tour throughout Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Austria, France, Norway, Sweden, New Zealand, China and India. He has also been tour support for Lee Mack, Micky Flanagan and Jack Dee.
You may have seen him on Channels 4’s ‘Bake Off: An Extra Slice’, ITV’s ‘This Morning’ and BBC Radio 4’s ‘Loose Ends’.
