What does love look like in 2026? For the creators of ‘Let’s Love’, it can be found in shared stories, family traditions, unexpected connections and the communities that bring people together.
On Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th July, ARC will host a new production from Seemia Theatre that places love in all its forms centre stage. Co-created with members of the local community, ‘Let’s Love’ explores the relationships, memories and moments that help shape our lives.
Blending theatre, music and movement, the production follows three stories inspired by real experiences before culminating in a wedding celebration that invites audiences to become part of the occasion. Rather than simply observing from the sidelines, audience members are encouraged to share in the atmosphere and sense of togetherness at the heart of the show.
At a time when many conversations focus on differences, ‘Let’s Love’ offers an opportunity to reflect on the connections people share. Through stories of romance, friendship, family and community, the production highlights experiences that resonate across generations and backgrounds.
Developed from interviews and real-life stories, the show also reflects Stockton’s diversity and the people who call the town home. Seemia Theatre’s community-focused approach is evident throughout, creating a production that feels both personal and accessible.
Warm, engaging and rooted in real experiences, ‘Let’s Love’ is set to be a memorable addition to ARC’s summer programme. For those looking for an evening of storytelling, celebration and community spirit, it promises a unique and uplifting experience.
