Multi-award-winning comedian Tom Taylor (named as the 2015 Yorkshire comedian of the year) will head to Newton Aycliffe this December as part of the Hilarity Bitesize new act and new material night at Steam Machine.
Described as a nervous and neurotic musical comedian, he’s also been hailed as intelligent and silly in equal measures, with a stock of quirky and hilarious musical one-liners. He supported Simon Munnery on tour and has performed on Radio Two and Radio Four Extra – and in 2013, he reached the prestigious final of the ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ competition.
He’ll be joined by comedy duo The Halls of Ridiculous with their collision of improv, sketch, character creativity and quick-thinking performance. They have a reputation for creating a fantastic show with characters and sketches combined with complete daftness.
The popular Lee Kyle will host the night, an MC that can manage the trick of being both odd and relatable.
