Established North East dance company, Eliot Smith Dance, head back to Queen’s Hall in Hexham on Thursday 23rd June with their newest production, Life and Other Stories.
The ever-entertainers and always enterprising arts company will be sharing their summer tour with North East audiences as they perform a group of four diverse and contemporary dance works that are filled with a variety of passion, excitement and exhilarating physical movement.
The performance, which has already been described as groundbreaking, will also include works from award-winning choreographers Martin Hilton and Balbir Singh as well as emerging choreographer, Yamit Salazar.
The key piece in the show is titled LIFE and will feature five cutting-edge dancers as it aims to highlight the climate change crisis through powerful choreography whilst also encouraging awareness and action from audiences.
Award-winning composer Adam Johnson provides music for the piece and renowned figurative artist Bernadette Koranteng has created the stunning backdrops for this not to be missed show.
