Northern Stage, an inspirational and creative theatre based in Newcastle, has launched their first official podcast.
Promising theatre-related material, including compelling chats and interviews with industry artists and creatives, the 45-minute podcasts will temporarily replace the post-show discussions that would ordinarily take place.
Titled ‘The Northern Stage Theatre Podcast,’ the first episode is available now on their website and includes a detailed chat with Curious Monkey’s director, Amy Golding, about their new play entitled ‘HERE’.
Unfortunately, due to government advice surrounding COVID-19, all public performances were suspended so the show was unable to go ahead as planned. However, the podcast offers a range of hints and information about this new show, guaranteed to keep listeners excited for the future of theatre.
With music from the show’s composer, Niroshini Thambar, the podcast is something for that theatre addict in your life to sink their teeth into!
