For those who enjoyed live music in Teesside at the turn of the Millennium, the names Velma and Tickety Boo may be more than familiar.
Two decades removed, members of these bands return to play in Ward and The Artisans, both enjoying each other’s company for a performance shared.
A gig that many have felt is long overdue, this will no doubt be a chance to revisit some nostalgia, as well as see how the respective artists have progressed musically in the years since.
It promises to be an evening of quality music, bringing together WARD’s ethereal shoegaze indie-pop and The Artisans’ jangly guitar-pop.
