Three decades in, Idlewild are still doing what they do best: creating loud, honest, heart-on-sleeve anthems that hit just as hard now as they did in the ’90s.
The Scottish alt-rock heroes roll into The Fire Station on Friday 17th April, bringing songs from their self-titled tenth album alongside classics that made them festival favourites.
Expect soaring choruses, crashing guitars, and that unmistakable Roddy Woomble presence at the helm. From chaotic early cuts to widescreen indie anthems, it’s all fair game, and the band will throw themselves into every second of it.
Tickets, priced at £38.00 in advance, are available at thefirestation.org.uk.
