Rising grunge-rock trio Villanelle blasted onto the scene in 2023, launching a headline tour before even releasing any music. Sidestepping the inevitable claims of nepotism (frontman Gene Gallagher is the son of Liam), the band have carved out their own path with raw, commanding performances.
Their debut single ‘Hinge’ dropped in September, accompanied by a sold-out launch gig in London. Now, the lads bring their unique energy to the North East this December – playing Independent, Sunderland on the 5th and KU, Stockton on the 7th.
