Award-winning comedian Lucy Beaumont is bringing her brand-new tour, The Trouble and Strife Show, to the Gala Theatre in Durham on Wednesday 4th October.
A star of stage and screen, Beaumont is an accomplished stand-up, comedy actress and writer who is best known for her collaboration with fellow comic and husband Jon Richardson in the highly-rated sitcom, Meet the Richardsons.
Outside of the partnership, she has established a formidable comedy career, with appearances on The Great Celebrity Bake Off, The Jonathan Ross Show, Would I Lie to You, Cats Does Countdown, Sunday Brunch and many more.
A proud Hull native, she has also co-written the Channel 4 sitcom, Hullraisers.
Early in her stand-up career, she won The BBC New Comedy Award and the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer, before being nominated for the Foster’s Newcomer Award with her debut Edinburgh show, We Can Twerk It Out.
The Trouble and Strife Show explores the hectic world of Lucy through her own surreal and surprising comic voice.
