One of Ireland’s favourite comics, Neil Delamere, is back on the road and stopping off at The Witham in Barnard Castle on Wednesday 5th November with his brand-new show ‘Achilles Neil’.
Fresh from sell-out arena gigs in Belfast and Dublin, Neil turns life’s little disasters and everyday human slip-ups into pure comedy gold. The title might sound heroic, but don’t worry – there’s not a toga in sight, just plenty of sharp observations and big laughs.
Neil has been making audiences laugh since his breakthrough at the Edinburgh Festival in 2004. Since then, he’s become a familiar face and voice on both sides of the Irish Sea – whether sparring on ‘The Blame Game’, exploring his Viking roots in RTÉ’s award-winning ‘The Only Viking in the Village’, or popping up on ‘QI’, ‘Live at the Apollo’, and ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’. He also hosts his own radio show, ‘Sunday Best’, on Today FM.
Expect quick-fire wit, cheeky stories, and the kind of playful banter that’s made Neil Delamere a comedy favourite for over two decades.
Tickets, priced at £20.00 in advance, are available from thewitham.org.uk.
