Norwich-born Neil Harris is a growing personality on the comedy scene who is quickly working his way up the ladder.
As a comedian, animator, computer programmer, and self-confessed nerd, Harris indulges his geekier side alongside his comedy skills by hosting a monthly science show at the renowned Stand Comedy Club in Newcastle. Each month, guests attend and ‘compete’ to become the best feel for the month, covering a variety of different scientific topics.
Alongside his monthly science shows, Neil will be performing again at The Stand, but this time with his new comedy show ‘Tales of the Unencrypted’, which sees the performer blend a mixture of comedy, humour, and history with a little help from Helpy the Lion.
The show will take a playful look at the Enigma machine and the effort it took to crack it. He will provide just enough facts to keep the show grounded in some form of truth, but if you’re looking for a serious history lesson, then this isn’t the place.
Tickets, priced from £10.00 in advance, are available from thestand.co.uk.
