The latest instalment of Hilarity Bites Comedy Club in Darlington will feature acts Nina Gilligan, Dave Johns, Seeta Wrightson and host Danny Deegan for a one-night comedy special.
Winner of several awards – including the Chortle Best Club Comic in 2023 and North West Comedian of the Year in 2023 – Nina Gilligan is popular due to her sharp, provoking wit which she balances with a charming, lovable persona.
Dave Johns has been a stand-up comedian since 1989 and remains dedicated to performing at both comedy clubs and festivals worldwide. His exciting and inventive style has earned him both respect from his fellow comics and popularity with audiences ever since.
Seeta Wrightson has supported both Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Tessa Coates and her stand-up skills led her to become a semi-finalist in the 2021 BBC New Comedy Awards.
Lastly, writer, performer and actor Danny Deegan tells tales of mischief that he has encountered on his experience of travelling, using charming crowd interactions and storytelling throughout.
