Irish-Iranian stand-up comedian Patrick Monahan heads out on his brand-new tour, ‘Classy’, and will be making a stop off in Darlington later this month.
Over the years, Monahan has made several TV appearances and has performed live across the globe, even winning highly prestigious contests such as ‘Show Me the Funny’ in 2011.
His ability to engage with the crowd has been highly acclaimed, with several reviews highlighting his charismatic and positive nature and his charming and enthusiastic delivery.
The ‘classy’ tour, whilst it still aligns with Monahan’s animated storytelling, also talks about his personal experiences of transitioning from the working-class background and upbringing of his Iranian mother and Irish father to the contrasting middle-class lifestyle with his partner.
