Hilarity Bites returns to Darlington this month with an eagerly anticipated roster of some of the country’s most beloved comedians.
Hosting the evening is Brennan Reece. Having been tour support for Joe Lycett’s arena shows, Reece is a seasoned comic with sharp material and an unmistakable northern flair.
Opener, Ignacio Lopez, is a phenomenal act, headlining clubs across Europe with his razor-sharp wit and scathing, yet affectionate, take on British culture.
Harriet Kemsley is fast becoming one of the nation’s favourite comics, recently making a standout appearance in ‘LOL: Last One Laughing’. Her bewildered stage persona and wonderfully scatty storytelling have earned her multiple awards, guaranteeing laughter every time she performs.
And headlining the night is arguably one of Britain’s greatest stand-ups – Bridget Christie. Fresh from her BAFTA-nominated TV series ‘The Change’, Christie’s stand-up is equally captivating: meticulously crafted, thought-provoking, and side-splittingly funny.
