Born and raised in Sheffield, renowned stand-up comedian, radio and TV presenter Tom Wrigglesworth is heading to Darlington’s Forum venue early this month for a night of guaranteed hilarity.
Nominated for the main Edinburgh Comedy Award at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe, Tom went on to win the 2010 Chortle Best Show Award and has since continued to earn wide acclaim for his tours, including sell-out tours of the UK and runs at the New Zealand Comedy Festival and prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival.
Joining Tom is Glaswegian comedian Harry Garrison. Once described by The Scotsman as a “standout crowd favourite”, Harry’s set is bound to drop your jaw in shock with his brutally honest material perfectly challenging life in a genuinely hysterical manner.
Hosting the night’s proceedings is finalist of the 2012 BBC New Comedy Award, Pete Otway. Known for his razor-sharp wit, energetic stage manner and original writing, Pete has been performing since 2010 and has continued to generate a loyal following since. Pete was also chosen to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of Just The Tonic’s prestigious Big Value Showcase in 2013.
Tom Wrigglesworth, Harry Garrison and host Pete Otway head to The Forum, Darlington on Saturday 6th July. Tickets, priced at £10.00 in advance, are available to purchase online at hilaritybites.co.uk. This show will also feature a new act in the middle of the gig.
