Kit is in her twenties, freshly diagnosed with PTSD, and has just moved to London with absolutely no intention of holding it together gracefully. When she’s not pretending to be famous on the tube, she’s quietly hoping she’ll collapse on the restaurant floor and never have to work again. She is, in other words, completely recognisable as a member of her generation, navigating mental illness through TikTok trends, dark humour, and the unshakeable conviction that she is THE main character.
Post Traumatic Slay Disorder is a sharp, witty, and Offie-nominated one-woman show written and performed by Lois-Amber Toole, a Whitley Bay actor and writer. Toole grew up on the sets of Wolfblood and Vera, trained in New York, and wrote this play on the shop floor of her retail job. The show blends comedy with brutally honest reflections on mental health, exploring themes of anxiety, identity, and the absurdities of modern life in a way that is both relatable and heart-wrenching.
Toole’s engaging storytelling, combined with sharp humour and moments of genuine vulnerability, makes for a captivating and thought-provoking evening.

Following a West End run at Seven Dials Playhouse and previous dates across the North East, the performance arrives at Gala Theatre in Durham on Thursday 16th April.
