For a night of smooth, laid-back, and undeniably cool jazz, head to The Globe in Newcastle on Sunday 31st May as the Ben Haskins Quartet will be performing music from their new EP ‘Shapes Change’.
The Leeds-based quartet features former music students Ben Haskins on guitar, Ben Powling on tenor saxophone, Owen Burns on bass, and Theo Goss on drums.
Their sound is an immaculate blend of freewheeling jazz improvisation and technically brilliant composition, a combination that has earned attention from Jools Holland, BBC Introducing, and Jazz FM.
