Fifteen punk, metal and alt-rock bands will unite to raise funds for The Globe as part of GlobeFest, a fundraising festival at Newcastle’s community-owned venue, The Globe, which runs from Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th November.
The first-floor bar – home to countless debut gigs – was recently closed for structural work.
Tyneside metal band Deathrattle, who helped organise the event, say it’s about “giving back to the venues that make our music possible.”
The Globe, which hosts over 400 events annually, remains a cornerstone of the North East’s grassroots music scene.
