Max, Jake, Hallam and Joe make up Crux, a Newcastle-based four-piece alt-rock band who are well established in the local music scene.
They have previously headlined The Engine Room, The Globe, Little Buildings and 02 Academy 2 and have played at established local festivals such as Scoop Festival, Afterlight Music Festival and The Canny Fringe Festival.
These lads have a truly unique sound, fusing prog-rock with pop-punk and grunge, with their songs exploring real-life global and local issues.
Expect a blistering live performance with strong riffs, geordie-twanged vocals, funky bass and pounding drums, but most of all, expect the unexpected.
