With over 100 million Spotify streams, Pointy Features have become something of a mainstay on lo-fi/chilled-out playlists since first arriving online back in 2018.
The brainchild of Durham-based guitarist Dean Leak (previously named Marshall’s British Guitarist of the Year), the project blends together lo-fi hip-hop beats and slow-hand blues guitar, with a nod to vintage ’60s psychedelia.
Since expanding into a live setting, the visual aspect has become of equal importance, with each performance accompanied by analogue visual light shows, resulting in a true multisensory experience.
Pointy Fingers perform at Bobiks in Newcastle on Friday 11th August with support from Mitch Laddie.
Tickets, priced at £10.00 in advance are available from bobiks.com.
