Launching on Sunday 16th April, Comedy Rox promises to be a fresh and exciting stand-up comedy event held to raise funds for the ‘If u Care Share’ Foundation which does vital work across the North East for mental health.
Hosted by local comedic royalty Matt Reed – fresh off a huge headline show at The Tyne Theatre & Opera House – the night will see five of the area’s most exciting and anticipated stand-ups grace the stage on what is bound to be an evening filled with personality, laughter and all-round jovial madness.
Headlining proceedings is Gavin Webster. Gavin has previously performed in ‘Does Doug Know’ with Daisy Donavon for Channel 4 as a regular team captain and currently performs at every major comedy venue throughout the UK including the prestigious Comedy Store’s ‘Men At Work’ topical comedy night. He has also supported Lee Evans, Jack Dee and more.
So have a laugh in the gorgeous setting of Bobiks in Jesmond and support an amazing cause at the same time.
