Bobiks in Newcastle sees Austrian-based duo Freekind grace their stage on Tuesday 9th May with support from exciting North-East native, Sisi.
Be free, be kind is the philosophy of FreeKind. The soulful group is composed of Croatian pianist and vocalist Sara Ester Gredelj and Slovenian drummer, Nina Korošak-Serčič.
Their songs carry a strong message of love and hope, complemented by R&B and Jazz grooves.
Their first self-produced EP, ‘Not Good Enough’, was digitally released in June 2021. Inspired by the positive response to the release, they’re currently working on their first full-length album.
Supporting them is 18-year-old musician, Sisi, who has recently released new single ‘Fallen Angel’, a more laidback R&B track – but Sisi can do it all. With Afropop and even garage tunes, Sisi is versatile. Sisi, who has been named one of BBC introducing Tees’ ‘Ones to Watch’ for 2023, will also make her festival debut at Reading and Leeds later this year.
Tickets, priced at £8.00 in advance, are available from bobiks.com.
