Durham indie-punk quartet Martha celebrate the 10th anniversary of their much-loved second album, ‘Blisters in the Pit of My Heart’, with a special hometown show at Gosforth Civic Theatre in Newcastle on Saturday 19th September.
Performing the album in full alongside favourites from across their catalogue, Martha promise an evening of huge hooks, razor-sharp lyrics and self-deprecating humour. Ten years on, the record remains as charming and emotionally resonant as ever, capturing everyday life with honesty, wit and infectious optimism.
With support from Newcastle indie-punk trio Oh Peas!, expect loud sing-a-longs, plenty of smiles and a celebration of one of the North East’s finest bands.
