Up-and-coming Hartlepool indie band, Northern Hospitality, have just released their second single in ‘Runaway Like Me’, the follow-up to their highly regarded debut, ‘To Be Free’, which was released back in June.
The new track has been described by the band as “a force of nature” and certainly feels like one.
The single contains an extremely fast-paced sound that is seemingly inspired by a large variety of post-punk acts that contain similar pulsing guitar sound.
The band have created something here that really wouldn’t seem far off from one of the Gallagher brothers’ modern solo works, yet at the same time, maintaining its own personality.
