The Pictish Trail is a 750km bikepacking route through Scotland’s dramatic Pictish kingdoms – and also the musical alias of Scottish artist Johnny Lynch. Inspired by The Flaming Lips, Beck, Arab Strap, and his Hebridean home of Eigg, Lynch creates psychedelic electro-pop journeys as vivid as the landscapes that inspire him.
As part of his latest tour, he brings his idiosyncratic live show to The Engine Room, North Shields. Expect costumes, colour, and sonic chaos, including his dreamy new track, ‘Infinity Ooze’.
