Sunderland, get ready! Shanghai Treason are bringing their toe-tapping, high-jinxing, good-feeling, sing-along, dance-until-you-can’t-dance-no-more, raucous-shindig fun times to Independent on Saturday 14th September.
Having burst onto the scene in late 2019, these “Yorkshire flat cap Celtic punks” have gone from strength to strength having supported top acts such as Hayseed Dixie, Stiff Little Fingers and The Undertones, to name just a few.
Now playing several headlining gigs on their 2024 tour, Shanghai Treason won’t be in Sunderland for a long time – but you can guarantee they’ll be here for a good time.
