A fun and fast-paced track, I was immediately taken back by the quality and presence of the production.
‘English Fiction’ is a powerful track with a melody that makes you want to get up and move. I loved the different layers of the song too including its instrumental bridge which is reminiscent of the eye of a storm.
With the song now hitting digital shelves, the band have stated through social media that this could well be their “last stab” at putting something out for a very long time. I personally think that would be a real shame as there’s a lot of real talent in this outfit that needs to be appreciated and more songs can only be a good thing.
With infectious guitar-driven sounds, Ghost//Signals have already built a loyal following in the North East and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them achieve even further success on the strength of their latest effort.
You can listen to ‘English Fiction’ now on Spotify and iTunes.
