A chaos of words and ideas, love and delight is coming to Darlington as award-winning comedian Robin Ince brings his latest show to The Hullabaloo.
A self-professed bibliomaniac, Ince’s obsession with books has taken him all across Britain – and now he is discussing his findings on tour.
This celebratory tour of the written word discusses the places that books can transport us to and the ideas that they give us that broaden our horizons.
Ince is probably best known for co-hosting the award-winning BBC Radio 4 series The Infinite Monkey Cage with Professor Brian Cox. He wears many hats and also has the titles of comedian, author, broadcaster, and is a populariser of scientific ideas.
Specialising in the topics of philosophy, literature and science, Ince uses his observational humour to break down barriers to these sometimes heavy topics and has even written books about these subjects.
Expect to come away feeling inspired and with a very long reading list.
