Openers, Abnorm, are a four-piece, independent alt-rock band based in Newcastle. The release of singles ‘Citrus’ and ‘Everything Temporary’ has launched the band into the spotlight, with their music having been critically acclaimed by the likes of ourselves, NARC, Nova Radio, CVFM, and BBC Intro.
Second band of the night, Post Rome, are an unsigned, hugely uplifting and atmospheric alt-rock band from Sunderland. They pride themselves on having an energetic and diverse live show and are passionate about bringing something new to the North East music scene.
And headliners, Kickin’ Lillies, formed as a local supergroup of sorts with members of Laurens Court, Fracas and Rhythm Wood & Shapes. The band extrude a strong, riff-heavy, alt-rock sound centred around their hard-hitting live show.
