The Halt in Redcar will play host to Laurie Wright on Saturday 27th November. The distinctively voiced Cheltenham musician’s writing and performing brings an audacity and swagger, but there is also a becalming sensitivity.
Wright has been building momentum as a burgeoning performer since last year’s lockdowns, during which he also appeared in national media expressing the effects of the pandemic on those struggling with addiction.
The Redcar micropub will certainly offer a unique and highly intimate stop-off on Wright’s path to increasing renown, and one in which his extensive busking pedigree is likely to shine.
Tickets, priced at £8.00 in advance, are available from the venue.
