The highly-anticipated Lindisfarne Festival has, unfortunately, been postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic.
The three-day event’s sixth consecutive year was planned for September 3rd but there’s light at the end of the tunnel – the event has not been cancelled and will instead be moved to September 2nd, 2021.
More than 5,000 festival-goers will gather at Beal Farm, Northumberland next year with headliners including Groove Armada and Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club, plus comedians and artists across 10 stages.
Thankfully, tickets and passes were automatically transferred for 2021.
Conleth Maenpaa, founder of Lindisfarne Festival, thanked fans for their support. He said: “We tried and hoped, but sadly like so many other events in a similar position to us, this wasn’t meant to be. Nobody could have anticipated the impact covid-19 would have had across the culture and events sector but the safety of our festival-goers, performers and staff remains our utmost priority during this time.”
