With over 4 months to go until Lindisfarne Festival 2020, festival organisers have announced that they may need to scale a few things back ever so slightly, but they have absolutely no plans to postpone their ultimate end-of-summer party, depending on the situation closer to the time. Festival Director Conleth Maenpaa noted: “Should our Pilgrims be at risk in any way, we will, of course, take the appropriate action.”
With that in mind, and to keep spirits as high as they possibly can during this unprecedented lock-down, organisers have unleashed the Lindisfarne Lockdown series online at facebook.com/lindisfarnefest.
Featuring a plethora of artists set to make their way to Beal Farm in Northumberland, festival-goers have the opportunity to get a sneak peek of what they can expect, with past performances (still available to watch online) including the likes of Paul Jeans from We Are Champion – a tribute to Queen, Conrad & Ruth from Holy Moly & The Crackers, besides Born Lippy and more.
