Hailing from Hartlepool, Michael Gallagher is a singer-songwriter with a social conscience. His blend of indie rock, observational lyrics and the love of his hometown is at the forefront of his songwriting, which paints stories of love, loss and togetherness.
With favourable comparisons to The Strokes, The Vaccines and Bob Dylan, Michael’s work has already received acclaim from Radio X, BBC Introducing and Clash.
Michael has also performed at Isle of Wight, Truck and Y Not festivals as well as playing sold-out shows in Newcastle, Manchester, Sunderland and Hartlepool.
Now based in Manchester, Michael has new recordings – and 2024 looks set to be his breakthrough year.
