After selling out our venue in October last year, Finn Forster will return to Stockton for a full-capacity gig this weekend, with support coming from Brad Jameston and soever.
Described as the love child of Paolo Nutini and Caleb Followill, Finn Forster has cemented his place in the North East music scene as the absolute one to watch since his debut single ‘Empty Promises’ in 2019.
Now with a string of successful singles and highly acclaimed debut EP ‘Lockdown B-sides’, the 24-year-old is on the rise at lightning speed, amassing a Ukwide fan base, growing with each release.
After being awarded BBC Introducing Track of The Week twice in 2020, Finn has no intentions of slowing down.
Expect high-energy shows from Finn, ear-pleasing tunes and a whole
lot of exciting releases scheduled across 2021.
Main support, Brad Jameston, is a seasoned pop-folk artist from Stockton. With intricate finger-style acoustic guitar, it accompanies his soulfully smooth yet gritty vocals. His lyrics paint pictures of his worldwide busking travels with stories of love and wild landscapes. Catchy choruses have his audiences singing along on the first listen and whistling the tunes all the way home. This guy is one to look out for.
And opener, soever, is a Newcastle-based indie/alt-rock outfit, playing solo for this one. Their influences range from Dylan, The Smiths and Nick Cave to Sonic Youth.
Tickets, priced at £5.00 in advance, are available at seetickets.com.
