At our core, we believe music is about community – and that begins with giving local artists the stage they deserve. Our venue is proud to champion homegrown talent all year round, offering regular opportunities for both emerging and established North East musicians to share their sound, build their audience, and be part of a thriving creative scene.
And November is shaping up to be another jam-packed month filled with outstanding regional talent.
We kick things off on Thursday 6th November with the return of high-energy indie-rock band The Aniseed Lounge and chamber rock outfit Stingray, joined by Durham’s indie newcomers Stellacaster, making their NE Volume debut.
Things slow down a little on Friday 7th November as we welcome back Teesside singer-songwriter Lottie Turner and Sky Parker, with Isaac Thompson of The Regency performing his first-ever solo set.
On Saturday 8th November, renowned Teesside-based promoters Big Figure Promotions bring North Kent trio The Len Price 3 to Stockton. Weaned on the raw, passionate, two-minute tunes of The Who, The Kinks and The Clash, The Len Price 3 deliver high-energy garage rock straight from the Medway district. Also on the bill are Gateshead’s very own heroes of horseback, Country Irregulars, returning after their memorable support slot with The Beatpack earlier this year. Kicking things off are Breadcrumbs, a collective of seasoned musicians brought together by a shared passion and a dash of mid-life experimentation, resulting in a sound that’s both refreshingly raw and deeply engaging.
On Thursday 13th November, our acclaimed NE Thing Goes mixed-genre night returns, featuring metal band The Ogres Hummingbird, indie-rock singer-songwriter Jacob Fletcher, alt-indie artist Mety, and indie singer-songwriter Luke Witham.
Friday 14th November sees Grindhouse launch their first-ever rock club night in Stockton, while on Saturday 15th, Teesside rap artist SHDE returns, supported by alt-rock soloist Aidan Feners and pop singer-songwriter Noah AJC.
Other highlights this month include indie-rockers The Heralds making their debut headline appearance on Friday 21st, supported by alt-rock bands Memoria and The Howlers. We also welcome back hard rock outfit Detonata on Thursday 27th, alongside We Don’t Bite and solo artist Nathan Crook. On Friday 28th, adrenaline-fuelled alt-indie band Marrick return, and on Saturday 29th, NE Volume favourites Gone Tomorrow take the stage with support from Memoria and Destroya.
