Punk legend Glen Matlock is performing at Gosforth Civic Theatre on Saturday 23rd November in what is a highly anticipated gig.
As the former bassist of the seminal Sex Pistols, Matlock is known for writing the thundering ‘Pretty Vacant’, a personal favourite of Noel Gallagher’s, along with co-writing iconic tracks like ‘Anarchy in the UK’.
Since the Pistols, Matlock’s importance in the punk scene has continued through collaborations with artists like Iggy Pop and The Damned.
Matlock is touring nationwide for his 2023 album, ‘Consequences Coming’, an album that showcases his observant eye through tracks about Brexit and Donald Trump’s presidency.
